Article Title: Effect of Ag doping on structural, optical and electrical properties of antimony sulfide thin films
Article Snippet: This work reveals the effect of silver doping on structural, optical and electrical properties of Sb2S3 films grown by a citrate-mediated chemical bath deposition technique.. The silver content in solution was 7.5 mol% with respect to Sb ions.. The films were deposited in a cold bath for four hours and subjected to thermal treatment in a N2 atmosphere at 300 C for 1 h. Polycrystalline nature of Sb2S3 films with orthorhombic phase was confirmed in both undoped and Ag-doped samples by X-ray diffraction technique and Raman spectroscopy.

Article Title: Development of phase-pure CuSbS2 thin films by annealing thermally evaporated CuS/Sb2S3 stacking layer for solar cell applications
Article Snippet: In this work, we report the preparation and study of phase-pure CuSbS2 thin films fabricated by a two-stage process; 1) the growth of CuS/Sb2S3/glass by stacking layers through a sequential evaporation of Sb2S3 and CuS powders, 2) the annealing treatment to the stack layer at different temperatures.. Under optimized conditions for the adequate thicknesses of the CuS and Sb2S3 layers, three scenarios with dependence on the annealing temperature were obtained. i) Annealing conditions below 350 °C are insufficient for the complete formation of CuSbS2 because of its co-existence with Cu12Sb4S13 and unreacted Sb2S3. ii) 350 °C is identified as the suitable temperature for accomplishment phase-pure CuSbS2. iii) At 400 °C some percentage of CuSbS2 decomposed in Cu12Sb4S13.. The quantification of phase content by Raman spectroscopy of CuSbS2 and Cu12Sb4S13 as a function of the annealing temperature is provided.

Article Title: Novel SnSb2S4 Thin Films Obtained by Chemical Bath Deposition using Tartaric Acid as Complexing Agent for Their Application as Absorber in Solar Cells
Article Snippet: Ternary Sn-Sb-S thin films with remarkable optical, electrical and structural properties were developed by chemical bath deposition.. Tin and antimony chlorides and thioacetamide were used as tin, antimony, and sulfur ion sources, respectively, while tartaric acid was used as a complexing agent.. XRD analysis of as-deposited films showed a combination of binary phases of SnS, Sn2S3, and Sb2S3, while after thermal treatment in nitrogen at 400 °C, the films became crystalline showing well-defined reflections of the ternary SnSb2S4.
